The Humblr
The humblr is a four piece sketchbook collage.
Each piece describes moments in my life leading up to the showcase that I felt were very profound. Topics ranging from time travel to a being befriended by celestial.
Each piece are made up multiple sketches I’ve done over my career as an artist. Weaving them together was a way I could really push the viewer into the world of the iBOMIANS. Not only I used sketches but I also reused Adidas, Rebook, and Nike shoe boxes to add an extra layer of revelance. My reason for this was to tell the viewer that no matter what level of consciousness I’m on I am still a human and I still enjoy the luxuries of both the material and spiritual world.
I used older sketches to show how literally putting your history in the making of things will inevitably force you to be history in the making. Stay humble because there’s always someone or something much more humblr.
