About Felix Burgos

Felix Burgos is an American artist based in New York. After a 30-year award-winning career as an art director in advertising, he transitioned into fine art, bringing with him a bold, graphic sensibility and a sharp eye for form, space, and emotion.

Influenced by abstract expressionism, Burgos creates vibrant, geometric scenes that reimagine everyday environments with startling simplicity and layered depth. His signature “hard edge” style, using acrylics, oils, and tape, transforms modern architecture, poolsides, and palm trees into tranquil, color-rich narratives of leisure and solitude.
