Biography

Andre Veloux is a contemporary pop artist recognized for his innovative use of Lego bricks as a medium for exploring gender, identity, and representation. His pixelated portraits of women and text-based works are deeply rooted in feminist themes, challenging cultural stereotypes while celebrating empowerment, individuality, and strength.

Veloux’s work is informed by the visual language of pop art and pixelation, transforming small plastic bricks into powerful statements about social structures. His portraits explore how women are viewed and portrayed in contemporary culture, while his text-based works directly address gender equality, feminism, and social justice.

Originally from the United Kingdom and now based in Princeton, New Jersey, Veloux’s work has been exhibited internationally, including in the United States, Europe, and Asia. His pieces have been acquired by private collectors, public institutions, and feminist organizations, highlighting the social impact and cultural resonance of his practice.

In addition to his artistic career, Veloux is engaged in education and activism, collaborating with feminist organizations and speaking about gender representation in art. His practice bridges fine art and social commentary, creating a vibrant dialogue about identity in today’s world.
