Portrait of Bruno García, Venezuelan equestrian abstract artist known for expressive reinterpretations of horses through color, rhythm, and symbolism, represented by D-Gallerie in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Venezuelan Equestrian Abstract Artist

Bruno García is a Venezuelan abstract painter whose equestrian-themed works explore movement, emotion, and form. Through layered color and expressive linework, he reimagines the horse as a symbol of strength and freedom; where abstraction meets vitality.

Biography

Bruno García is a Venezuelan contemporary artist known for his dynamic equestrian abstractions, vivid compositions that celebrate the power, rhythm, and grace of the horse. His paintings merge figurative suggestion and geometric structure, capturing not only the form of the animal but the energy and emotion it embodies.

Working primarily in acrylic, oil, and mixed media, García layers texture and gesture to create a sense of motion within stillness. His horses emerge from color fields and intersecting lines; simultaneously precise and instinctive, reflecting the balance between discipline and spontaneity.

Rooted in Latin American abstraction yet deeply personal, García’s art transcends literal representation to express the horse as an emotional symbol of endurance, spirit, and beauty. Each piece feels alive, charged with motion, and imbued with the artist’s profound connection to the subject.

García’s works have been exhibited internationally and are held in private collections across Venezuela, the United States, and Europe. Represented by D-Gallerie in St. Petersburg, Florida, his paintings have also been featured through Saatchi Art, Singulart, and Artesa Latino.
